About this blog's layout...BLOG UPDATED ONCE PER DAY...

I follow my journal daily by writing under the daily title, "FIRST 5 YEARS:" The first five years will strictly follow my 5 year journal. If I find the day I am writing about to be boring, I will either write about thoughts I remember(placed under the title of "SECOND 5 YEARS"), write a trucker tale(placed under "A Trucker's Tale"), give a helpful trucker hint, ask a "student driver" question or do something.....When a location appears after the day of the week after "FIRST 5 YEARS:", it is where I am at the start of that day((IE: FIRST 5 YEARS: (Sunday-Kansas City, Missouri))..... I would encourage those that find themselves enjoying North America to follow me day by day.....REMEMBER: THIS IS A BLOG ABOUT WHAT LIFE IS LIKE FOR A TRUCKER THAT DOES NOT HAVE A DAILY ROUTINE ROUTE(called a "dedicated" route). THERE WILL BE MANY TIMES WHEN THE ROUTING, SCENERY AND DAY'S ACTIVITIES WILL BE SIMILAR(boring???) TO PREVIOUS DAYS; THAT'S TRUCKING! THERE WILL BE DAYS WHEN THE ROUTING, SCENERY AND DAY'S ACTIVITIES WILL BE TOTALLY NEW; THAT'S TRUCKING. Frustrations? I mention the frustrations I had as a driver. I loved my job while earning a living and realized that all jobs have frustrations; truck driving is, and was, no different..... FIRST 5 YEARS: (Friday)
Remember, I write of the good and bad I lived: you judge. Woke in my Laredo, Texas motel room with the TV on, volume low, so I laid there for a few minutes and watched it Got up, dressed for being in the public, and went across the street to the market and got breakfast; sausage, half & half(milk product) and candy coated peanuts-go great with sausage( I love junk food). Went back to room, ate breakfast and studied my pizza box. As I looked at the box, my mind started going wild(from breakfast menu???). I thought and thought and came up with something I could make; a fiberglass pizza!!!I decided to try so I walked next door to Wal-Mart(real name) and picked up a small fiberglass auto body repair kit, little "hobby" roses, model paints and brushes. Went back to room all excited to get started. I spread everything out on the motel room table, opened the curtains to get as much light as I could, and got started. I was just "as happy as a fly on possum poop!". Early afternoon came and a Latin gal walked past my window and she looked in. She walked to my room door, which I had open. I was painting the cheese on my fiberglass pizza when she walked in. She looked at what I was doing and asked,"What are you doing?". I told her and she responded as if she had no imagination...After a very short conversation she asked if she could use my bathroom. Boy, I hated to say no but I didn't trust this gal at all! I did say no and she just ask, "Please?". I say no again. She left. I finished my pizza by glue gunning little "hobby" roses on it; a rose pizza? I walked out and looked over the railing. I was on the second floor. While I was standing there, the driver from the room next to mine walked out and we started talking. Leaning over the railing, he asked me if a Latin gal had asked to use my bathroom. I told him yes and that I had told her no. Well, she went to his room and asked him and he said yes. He said she was in there a little bit too long and the time got his curiosity. He got up and walked to the bathroom and found the door half open. He saw her injecting some kind of a brown liquid into her neck. He got her out of there as fast as he could. He and I went to dinner together. We both had enjoyed the Chinese restaurant the other side of Wal-Mart, so we went there. Back to the room for the evening.
Tomorrow, in underwear near a crowd and three police cars....
