We both were awake shortly after 7 AM EST with the noise of another truck being unloaded. It was from my company. I called in and got the "call back in an hour "message. Bill and I walked to the shore line of Lake Ontario and looked around.

I call back to dispatch with the other driver and we both got loads to pick up at the Nephton Mines near Peterborough, Ontario. We pulled into the mine's parking lot and checked in. We were told that they would come out and get us tomorrow when it was time to load. It was a very cloudy day and it seemed like it would start raining, but it didn't. While we sat there we noticed deer alone the sides of our trucks. The deer weren't too afraid of us and would come and graze on the corn the miners threw on the ground for them... I tried to pet one but only could get about 10 feet from it. Couldn't stay outside too long as they mosquitoes were so thick...

Stayed the night with no TV reception.
